what to feed my bby endli

i have to endli round 4-6" currently trying to feed them hikari sinking carnivor pellets and also tried some musscle but they didnt touch it any ideas what else to feed them to get them grow nice and big?

They currently in a 4 x 1 x 2 ft tank looking but will end up in my 5 x 2 tank.

Might try to get hold of a smaller tank so easy to feed.

they were feeding them on hikari sinking carnivor pellets i had them since sunday.

would it be a good idea to devide the tank up make it samller?
The tank is also planted

try feeding it just after you turn off the lights for the night.Is not unusual for some
bichirs not to eat until they are settled into the tank.A healthy bichir can go about a month without eating -Anne

would not my 5 x 2.5 tank be big enough in the end?

endy 24-30 inches
and thats not counting the other occupants sure sounds cramped to me

fair enough i can move them down to my 6 x 3 tank later when my frontosa get a bit bigger.

I would try the 'mini' pellet size of Hikari Cichlid Gold sinking type. Baby polypterus loove the bite size pellets, and you don't have to worry about sharp edges from breaking apart larger pelletssuch as sinking carnivore and massivore.

Those pellets are high in protein as well so they're great for your polypterus even though it labeled for cichlids.

Finely chopped pieces of market shrimp work well too.

The tail end of the shrimp is very easy to cut into small pieces, so I give that part to my small endli, and the rest of the shrimp is cut into larger pieces for the bigger polys.
