What to feed my redhooks/silver dollars?

I have been giving my redhooks (~2.5") a few different kinds of food, but this is my first time keeping them and would love some tips from someone with experience (with them or related species).

Depending upon their size, most SD or RH's will eat or try to eat everything. I veggie clipped, spinach, romaine and dried seaweed. When they got larger they relished small meal worms. Lets see some pics

Ditto that, mine also liked earthworms.

Mine are like Oscars, they eat anything that hits the waters surface. Veggies, Algae waffers, Hikari Gold, flakes, brine shrimp, fry and anything else they can find.

Mine eat anything that hits the water. Zucchini, peas, algae tabs, pellets, fish, shrimp, beefheart. When meat hits the water they turn into a little pack of piranha.

Tropical flakes, algae wafers, and peas are some good food for silvers dollars.

mine eat anything from amazon swordtails to bloodworms and earthworms with occasional algae chips.
