just got him a few days ago .. what are thier eating habits? .... do they feed daily? and what kinda food are you guys feeding them .. thanks

Got mine a week ago he was like an inch,i have been power feeding him daily and doing frequent water changes.He has grown like an inch already,he loves raw shrimp,it is all he will eat so far,when i 1st got him he ate 2 guppies i bought for him but since just shrimp.The only problem i am having is that i have to''hand feed him'' all the time or he wont eat,plus he is kinda slow and the other fish would eat all the food.
I fed mine when it was little bloodworms and beefheart. I also cut up some shrimp that you can get from walmart, or fish fillets, night crawlers

All good advice, Mine have taken well to muscles, Shrimp, and shrimp pellets... and Small... I mean REALLY small Goldfish... I made the mistake of asking for some small feeders for my RTC the week before I bought my TSN's as he likes to chase them around the tank between meals...the last ones I bought were "medium" and they seemed alittle larger than I wanted him to have as a snack... so I ordered the smalls... they came out with this bag of what looked like new born guppies...even my 1 year old looked at the bag and had a look like... I thought you asked for fsssssssssssssssssh (baby speak for Fish).
Yeah anyway they went through their treatment for parasites and were still in my quarentine tank when the TSN's followed me home from another LFS
... needless to say they helped get rid of those pesky little fish... I know the RTC wouldn't have even bothered with them... kinda like eating a grape..only 1. the Blood worms and Beefheart are a sure bet to get him eating if he hasn't yet.
