I caught some native bait fish today finally and out of 25 only 3 died in transit. I aclimated them properly to my tank. They are 2-3 inches and I want them to last a while in my 90 gallon tank. They are bottom dwellers, so my question is, what do I feed them? What will they take.

One thing that all of my native minnows are a huge fan of is hikari freeze dried worms. (Any variety) I just stick these to the front glass at whatever level, they will stay there, and the fish come pick them off. Very convenient.

I also make a special blend of "crumbles" that sink and my minnows love that as well. Currently holding at least 15 native species of minnow at my facility.

I would start with flake then go to pellets with flake mix then just pellets.
