what to feed new arros?

So i will be getting some baby silvers around 4 inches and i would like to know what are some of your favorite foods to feed your arros

Hikari food sticks if they will take them. Live insects as well

Freeze dried blood worms, for now and you can use pin head crickets. Wait till about 7 to 8'' to try and convert to pellets.

worms + crickets... i fed my aro anything I found and it ate it. My friend use to throw his unwanted fish into my tank without me knowing and my aro swallowed it.

At 4" you can already directly go to pellets...

Ya I had good results feeding 4"ers broken Hikari cichlid gold large size. Bought the mini pellets for them and they would not eat it. I think the larger broken pellets absorb water quicker making them softer.

The freeze dried bloodworm is still a good food for that size. You can also go with a freeze dried shrimp or krill as not as it is soft and has not sharp points.

thansk for all the ideas ive been feeding them freeze dried bloodworms and frozen blood worms and they are all eating great!

Woulnt it be better to feed them someting that you would be feeding them for their rest of their life then live food.
