I just picked up a pair of small wild caught Festaes and some small Vieja Synspilums that I want to grow out in my 55 gallon tank.

My question is : what would be the best thing to feed them so they can grow fast?

The Festaes are about 3 inches or a lil bit smaller and the Viejas are still about 1 inch....still pretty small. I just got them today and all I gave them wherensome bloodworms. What is the best thing for them so they can grow fast ?

At that size my Festae were eating small pellets as their staple with blood worms and brine shrimp as supplements. To get the best and quickest growth, perform routine water changes and get them on a quality pellet.

Agree on the mysis shrimp also a small good quality pellet will be good also.

I feed my flowerhorn Hikari Cichlids Bio Gold +....would that be good for them? I do think those mini pellets are still a little bit too big for them.

that should be fine, just crush them alittle if they are to big

They are only taking frozen bloodworms right now....the viejas are also taking some NLS pellets but not the Festaes......
