So my 5 spot jewel cichlids have eventually settled in to the tank and have got there own spaces, there are still a few nibbles now and again but mainly ok.
So my question is, what would you say is a good diet for them? At the moment they are eating frozen bloodworm ( love it! ) Algae tablets which they suck like lollipops and also a couple of the do eat the Cichlid sticks. I tried them with prawns which my frogs and comets love but they seem to just suck out the flavour then spit them out!!
What else can i feed them, also they are very messy fish, range from 3.5 - 6 inches. The smallest one hates me, while doing water changes every other day and cleaning tank it bites my hand the whole time its in the tank, luckily has no teeth!!
