What to Feed

What are some different types of food I Ican feed my reds? Right now I'm feeding Silversides and krill.

What are some other things I can feed my reds?

I heard that you should feed them some veggies too. What kind of veggies should I put in?
 
A good pellet would be a good addition to your Ps diet. I use tetra cichlid sticks. alot of people will use hikari pellets too
 
my rhom likes catfish, perch, and bluegill fillets on top of what has already been said
 
I would love to see a sticky on this. I am sure many out there have a sched that they go by. Mon. Chicken, Tues Feeders........ I would like to hear what everyone does.
I use to feed mine Feeders (goldfish), then the next feeding would be chicken. I would also throw in mollies that I bred from time to time. Rarely feed them any fish filet, but it sounds like a good idea. Occasionally frozen shrimp.
When you guys say you feed them fish I asume it is raw. Lets get detailed here lol. I am very curious yself about the hardcore out there.
 
yeah, i either get fillet at the sea food place by me, of lately i have been ctaching bluegill and such and freezing them. i then cut off pieces, thaw them out, and then feed them. my rhom eats thawed out raw shrimp too. im going to try thawed out frogs legs too this summer. my gator gar and alligator snapper both love them
