hi i have a clown knife in my 48x15x15 tank and was wondering what to feed it for best growth atm i feed it cichlid pellets but it only seems to feed very rarely and is nervous to come to the surface to feed. what should i feed for good growth and that it will love???

mine is not choosy at all. has a varied diet. market prawns, floating/sinking pellets, super worms, feeder tarpons, cut squid, and sometimes tries even eating larger tank mates. lol
feed it what it takes at the moment then slowly introduce other variety of foods by trying to starve it. it'll eventually eat what is available.
Depending on size...
Feeder goldies (pre-quarantined)
Earthworms
market tilapia
silversides
market shrimp
but add pellets(sinking) to it's diet for best growth...
But be warned, that the tank you have it in is probably only going to be good for about 3-4 months before it'll outgrow that tank size.
