I have a 20g tank that is empty, what should i put in it. I have thought:

1.
Pair of Cacatoides/Agassizii/Ramirezi/Bolivian Ram
1x small pleco.

2.
Pair of Ancistrus

3.
3-5x Occellaris dwarf cichlids.

4.
Plants

Wich should i go with, any ideas from you guys?

a pair of Apistogramma cacatuoides would be cool

Is it a 20 High (24"/60cm long) or a 20 Long (30"/76cm)?

Unless it was a 20 long, I would avoid the bolivians. They get much larger than the apistos or blue rams. If it's a 20 long, I would go with a trio (1m/2f) of the apistos instead of pairs ... the extra length gives both females and the male their own seperate territories, and both the apistos listed are harem spawners.

If it's a 20 High, then I would go with either a pair of one of the apistos or a pair of the blue rams. The bonus here is you can still have a planted tank with the south american dwarves.

I dont know, i am not at my home. No tanks here are bought as "high" or "long", about same dimensions in most same size tanks from different company's, Juwel, Aquastabil, Rena.

So, a trio of Cacatuoides, a Medusa Pleco and im good.

I'd only do the trio if it's a 70cm+ tank, not the 60cm type. I'd also choose a smaller algae eater, either oto's or rubberlips ... a medusa can push around centrals, let alone dwarves.
