where i dont wanna be
i just got a new 140 in trade for my reptile cages and i need ideas for tankmates for my O and my midas.thanks

Dont get crenicichla, CA/SA are more fun.
You could go with Green Terror, Jack Dempsey, Vieja sp...

my advice is to go with very tough fish such as convicts, texas, jags, your midas will one day own that tank and kill fish that are weaker than him. i had a red devil in a 180 and would constantly go after my oscar plecos and jd and so i had to moe him to a 65 gallon alone so be careful when u pick a fish

I recently had to rehome my male Red devil because my smaller male Green Terror was mauling him, I may have to rehome my oscar for the same reasons, he's 2 inches bigger then the GT but he was nearly killed the other day by him, so He's in a hospital tank healing now before I decide what to do with him.

If your Midas owns the tank then make sure any cichlid you introduce is smaller then he is and not of simular colouration. otherwise the Midas may take offence to the new cichlids presence. A pike cichlid may be the easiest to introduce.

In all honesty though a smaller GT or Pike cichlid may be best if you must have a cichlid.

Personally I recommend A Birchir of some sort, A fire eel , A large species of pleco or Synodontus maybe. Trust me though You can't go wrong with a nice Ornate Birchir.

i've been thinking about an ornate bichir, i have a jd but i was gonna keep him in my smaller tank. as far as convicts, texas, an green terrors go i havnt found any around here that are about 1"

Trimax: I know that very well, SA i was talking about; Geo's etc.
