new guy here just wanting to find out from anyone here who has jaguar cichlids,what would go in my big tank with my jag? jagger is about 5-6 inches and he beat up my 12inch pleco all day every day till i let the pleco go. well i was told if i was going to add anything it would have to be soon,cause if he/she gets any bigger jagger will be way to terratorial. well i was thinking of adding a red devil.red terror, or flower horn. they have these 3 at my local shops. i was thinking of taking jagger out rearanging the tank,and adding the new fish then put jagger back in. well i am not about to get all three.ill either get the red terror,devil or ill just get the flower horn.they want like 80 bucks for their flower horn is that right these fish are under 5 inches from 3-5 inces?why are flower horns so pricey?any way if i could add any of these cichlids with my jag let me know ill post some pics of my jagger next month as soon as i can.oh one more thing i just thought i would add. jagger likes to chase and gulp down feeder fish it looks like he is chewing gum, then a few seconds later he spits them out and they are swimming 4 their life,then he repeats gulp,chew,spit,chase? he never eats them just has fun with them and kills them

here is the only pic i got of my jag right now,this was taking about 4 months ago. i have had this fish for about a year and ahalf now he /she is only about 6 inches now,also could anyone tell me the sex of this jag?
well i gave jagger to my sis when he was just about 2inches, she housed him in a 30gal 4 almost a year on a chichlid pelet diet we did not know what we had,in the begining. i got jagger at petsmart along with some african cichlids so the hole time i thought i had an african cichlid. then i started looking for a pic to compare him with online and found it at oscarfish.com i was suprised! so i explained to my sis how big he was going to get and she gave him back to me about a month and a half ago as soon as i got my 150gal up and running. he has actually grown about an inch or close to since i got him in the 150gal i have been feeding him beef heart cubes and night crawlers, and occasional claim in the half shell. and evan slices of squid and silversides, so he is getting his protien for sure now he won't evan touch his pellets!i don't wanna give him fatty liver desiese so should i stop with the beef heart?do u think he/she will b permanantly stunted?
no keep feeding him...............just vary his diet with the pellets mostly and give him the other things every other day. thats what i have done with my jag. hes in a 125gallon with a 10inch tiger oscar, 10 inch gt,2 smaller female gt's around 5-6inches, and a smaller 4inch texas cichlid. the jag is around 6inches long. hes a pretty calm example of a jag but he does have his territory in the tank and defends it pretty good.
