well over the last few weeks ive been thinking of getting a FX5 but i have read a few bad reports on these. does anyone know a filter which they would recommend around the same price range??? or should i still go with the FX5

bad reports? Most people seem to think they are a good filter for the money. Eheim 2260 and 2262 are better, but much more expensive.

I'm not sure about the Eheim 2260, but I have been running an FX5 for about three weeks with very positive results.
