Ok so i want to get some form of reptile but with living in new zealand thres not much of varieties so i was think of getting a pair of bearded dragons or blue tounge lizards.

Hummm..., being given that there is not much avaibility of live reptiles I also asume that there is not easy also to get supplies(live food, lamps ,etc) So I would say a blue tongue skink would be your best bet. They are very hardy, live a long time when well cared for and can survive on a mostly grosery store diet(but even then try to find a good sorce of live food and try to raise your own if they are dificult to come by, crickets and superworms will do). You can built a very good terrarium for this guys on supplies avaible in any hardwere store. Beardys are also very good to have but they are more dependant on live food and they need high UV ligth wich may be dificult to come by.
