what to keep in a 55?

i have an empty fifty five gallon tank. it had an oscar a pacu and one of those wormy loaches i cant remember the little guys name. i got a 90 for the oscar to live in and the pacu was going to a lfs when he got too big so he could be a store mascot in a 400 gallon tank. any way last night my pacu wiged out and shook my oscar to death and then this morning was dead. i dont know why this happened i didnt test the water before i drained it. it was fine a week ago tho. i found the loach under a rock wile cleaning today i think he got stuck and died and fouled the water. any way i now have an empty tank in need of a new filter and inhabitants. any ideas? i was thinking a spoted pictus, and like 35 to 40 guppies or cherry barbs or danios something for life that will look good as a show tank.

so what should go in?

you could get a red devel

I'd get a Female Motaguense or a JD pair. GT is a good choice as well and Red Devil. Really you have alot of options.

will that many angles be okay it seems like that would be too many. but my mom does like angles and i am letting her pick out the fish as long as they will fit for life.
