What to look for in juvie FH

I'm think of buying some juvie fh to grow out. I would like to get 3 and then grow them out until I decide which has the most potential that I can keep. But I'm u sure what I should be looking for.

Mostly I will be looking at 1.5-2" fry. I heard good red coloring and young age is a good sign. What else as usually kok potential isn't visible this small, and what about gender? Can u tell that small.

The more color, pearling, and kok size at small sizes the better.

Okay I think I will obtain 2 or 3 each from different sources to get a variety so that if they are all poor quality siblings I don't get all the same drap fish.
