What to look for in small flowerhorns

What should I look for in small flowerhorns? Does it matter if it is a normal flowerhorn?

It depends on how small, but if you are talking about 1-2 inches, you should look at the flowerline (except if it is a thai silk) because that is the only thing that really shows on a small fh.
