Recently I found out that shrimp is low in vitamin B1 and can end up killing my fish...apparently my juruense could have died from that.

Anyway recently I have been making the main diet for my fish, shrimp. It is much cheaper and doesn't smell crazy like massivore do(some people in my house cant stand the smell).

My larger tank currently has 5 chicla, 3 odeo pike, a lima catfish, a poly, and a pleco. They all love shrimp but im currently mixing pellets in with the shrimp. I wouldnt mind switching to just shrimp.

Is there a vitamin supplement I can use? Or what market fish would be best to get to feed them?

Vitachem is liquid vitamin, just soak your market prawn in that liquid for 15 mins before feeding then you are good.

As Yuki has mentioned. Vita-Chem is what use and I just inject with a needle into food. Creates a little pocket and fish can't taste it.

Also soak food with it and feed to live fish when i use it as food.

how much do you think i would need to use to soak 3 full sized shrimp?
Just trying to judge how long a bottle would last

Description is on bottle, just use 1 or 2 drops.
Usually a bottle will last you for months with the standard smallest bottle they selling. It's concentrated liquid so you don't need to use it a lot, few drop mix some water should be fine. If you inject the liquid to the food then it would use more.

If u do inject then use a needle with a large gauge. The liquid is a bit thick and smaller needles will get clogged easily.

I use a Cajun injector needle or if its a filet ill just soak for 10-15min

If using Boyd Vitachem for B1 boost, no need to supplement every day. Three times a week should be plenty to remove any thiaminase issues caused from feeding shrimp etc.

In addition to the above, you could also feed cut up fish fillets - a cheap, thiaminase-free option would be Tilapia.
You could also use pellets different to massivore, not all of them smell as bad haha
In any case, supplementing vitamins is never a bad idea.
