So, i will soon set up a 1300g indoor pond. (10'x6.6'x3')

I have a TSN for growout for the pond, only 4" now. He is the only fish that will 100% go into the pond.

Filteration will be good.

So i was wondering what to put in it, so i have a few two questions:

1. If i would only have Ocellaris pbass with the TSN how many could i fit?
2. WHAT TO GET!

So, here are the fish that i want to get. please make a list for me of fish from the below YOU would keep in the pond and how many of each.

Ocellaris pbass (ocell are only ones available)
Silver Arowana
Red Tail Catfish
Perruno Catfish
Albino clown knife
Oscars
Pterodoras Granulosus

Regards, Jakob

I'd probably put a fire eel, endlicheri, and silver arowana in there. And maybe a monster catfish or paroon shark. I've always liked tiger shovelnoses.

Ok, thanks, anybody else?

Will this work?
1x Silver Aro
2x Ocellaris
1x Gold CK
1x Perruno cat
1x TSN cat
2x Polypterus Ornatipinnis
Will this be ok?

Hi Jakob,

A 1,300G pond is huge! Wish you all the best on that.

My suggestion for you is to take your time, enjoy your TSN eventually in the pond and slowly (ideally 1 at a time and at least 1 week apart) add fish as time goes by. Adding fish spikes amonia and strains your filtration and media, it needs time to adjust.

Depending on the size of your bichir, won't there be a danger of it becoming a snack for your TSN if it becomes 2' or so?

If you're gonna go with silvers, then a net or some kind of a cover would be compulsory at least in the beginning. Some water lilies or plants will help soothe them I guess.

If you will eventually get an RTC, he might have some in your stock list for snacks, the P Bass is one of the RTC's favorite forbidden snack...hehe. Keep us updated!
