Well, for my birthday (exactly one month from today :D) I'm getting anywhere from a 90gal to a 125gal from my parents. In the meantime, with the $1 per gallon sale at Petco, I'm thinking about goin' down and investing $55 into a 55gal tank. I'm thinking about what I want to put in there and I really don't know. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm open to anything, really.

scrubbies.
Sump the 125.

Not what I was talking about :nilly:

I'm getting a sump and my dad's already said the 90/125 will likely have overflows with a sump.

I want FISH in the 55, I don't want other opinions please. Don't mean to come across rude at all, sorry if it seems so.

gulper cats

I'm setting up a river system with my next 55
and running terestrial plants and mud skippers
I'd never buy a 55 new tho the market is flooded with used ones
Keep your eyes open you can get one for free

Kind of hard to find a person who will release a 55 at a dollar per gallon though. For the most part people try to make back most, if not all of their money.

Not true. I see free 55g all the time on CL.

I never do :'(

To me buying a 55gal FOR $55 is just too good to pass up. On my local craigslist everyone selling 55gals want to make back pretty much all of their money. I'd rather just buy my own 55gal and build a stand/canopy myself. I've got no problem buying a filter or even making my own.

But really, back to the matter at hand, suggestions would be awesome :)
