hey guys,

i'm attaching a sample photo of what the built in wet dry area of my tank looks like.

chamber 3 is emtpy, what do you guys recommend putting in there to maximize its filtration capabilities? sponge, more biloballs, other bio filter media??

thanks!

If it were me, I'd stuff it with scrubbies. But you could stack some bags of different bio media in there too.

something doesn't look right...have you got a wider angle shot of this system?

what doesn't look right?

the photo is a stock photo (probably a 50G version)... i have the 75G.

As far an chamber 3 goes, you could put a sponge if you don't have another form of mechanical filtration elsewhere.

To start with,
what is on top of the bio-media? need clearer shot to identify what you got there...

Can you get a closer shot of the thing?

if you are referring to the tube like thing, i'm not sure... but directly on top of the bioballs is the drip tray.

can't take a photo of mine since it's pinned against the wall... basically the same setup as the pic w/o that mysterious tube thing.

i think i'll go w/ either a sponge or some scrubbies

How do you service it or are going to add to it if you can't get to it?

there's an opening on the top, as you see the photo.. i had some used biomax laying on top of the drip plate to try and speed the cycling process up. now i'm thinking if i should just put that in chamber 3.
