I think you need to provide a little more info, like What kind or aro you are planning on getting, and how big the tank is. :)

Isnt this the same question?

Not sure on the arrow but my friend has a asn one that he got a year ago in his 80 gallon tank. and it seems to do fine.

My tank is a 120 gallon with lots of free space to move around

o. my brouther posted that one for me XD

120 isn't a good size tank for any aro. Your freind most likly has a jardini which is an australian aro since asian are illegal in the US.

Oh also the only good aros for community tanks would be silvers, blacks, and african aros. Jardinis and leachardis tend to get really aggressive and would most likely kill the bala sharks and oscar.

o, he told me its a asn. o well. i plan on getting all these fish small and im saving up for a bigger tank. my friend has a 245 gallon he said i can have but i gota save up. ill prob get it in like 10 months. so any idea?

Also please use this thread

What are the demesions of the 240 you plan on getting. For a full grown aro, you will want a tank of at least 30in wide for the aro to be comfortable and have plenty of room to swim.

Standard dimensions of 240's are 98''x18''x18'' so an 18in wide tank isn't nearly adaquite for any sp of aro. Remember most can attain two and a half feet to three feet in length.

my 120 gallon is 26 wide and my friends is about 42 i think something around there.

Your 120 would probably hold an aro for a year if you get one that is like 3in.

But before you get one find out the dimensions of the 240 you plan on getting.

kk ill do that, But is there anything else besides a catfish they are kinda ugly :(

Clown loaches, fire/tiretrack eels, other types of cichlids, tinfoil barbs, silver dollars.
