Hi,

I can keep this a cool water tank or a tropical one by adding a heater. I am also open to keeping some type of aquatic amphibian too. What I would like above all is an active tank. Tank dimensions are 30x12x12. Thx

other: 20-25 serpae tetras and a 1-2 inch albino bushynose plec

the tetras are really cool at feeding time in a species tank

Nice suggestion. Thats what I am talking about. I want something thats gonna be fun, is going to be active etc. I am not all to concerned with predators etc. I already got a predator tank, I got 2 planted tanks, I got invert tanks etc. Just looking for something different. Keep the suggestions flowing.

no prob, my cousin has 4 in his ten gallon and i fed them and it was really surprising how cool they were, bcause i usually never like non predatory stuff, but now im opening up to it

another idea,
planted with some carpet plant and a chunk of driftwood wrapped in java moss

20 harlequin rasboras
and i was thinking some type of active loach/catfish, i dont think ive ever seen them in a planted

maybe yo-yo's?

If you are looking for an ACTIVE loach, you could try kuhli loaches. I like Cory cats without the bettas... In my 20 long I have green tiger barbs, polka dot loaches, c121 corys.

small/med african cichlids will always be active! Especially if you don't give them too many places to hide.
