agreed...morning being before 7am and evening being an hour before sunset...

i your in the lilly's use a rubber mouse for top water....along the banks i use double spinner hook and depending on water temp and water color should determine the color of your bait. then again trial and error, if they bite keep using the same lure but dont keep using it as the day goes on or when you change location...trial and error...

Good fishing and remember "catch and release":headbang2:headbang2

and you can't go wrong with night crawlers! always works for me... i set up one pole and cast and wade on that line and the other pole i use a lure...

Bass will hit worms? I assume live and moving on the hook.

Be sure to use light tackle - shallow water bass are usually very skittish, 6 lb line max and finesse soft plastics in watermelon seed color is what i would go with. Yamamoto worms and some zoom worms are excellent.

I use a huge Ugly Stik, 60 lb braid. Spinnerbaits, plastic worms, Floating Rapalas, and plastic frogs. I've never had a problem with shallow bass being skittish.
