I went to a LFS and bought a pair of buffalo heads and when i bought them the females breeding tube was down, Then the next day it disappeared but the males still digging a lot of pits. Does anyone know what i could do to make these fish breed?

Some fish will breed at the drop of a hat in horrible conditions, such as convicts. Others require strict parameters, such as discus. Some require a drop in temperature, others a rise, change in salinity, change in water chemistry, change in light cycle, etc.

haha the trick is finding out what your fish needs and you'll be good!

ok thnx

first, it helps to know the right water conditions for your fish ... after that, what I've observed as being the best motivator for breeding is a water change ...
