Title says it all. I need a tubing this size for aquarium use in a project I am working on. Thanks guys.

PS Dr fostersmith and bigalsonline both have the 12/16 backordered :irked:

Thank you so much! For some reason when I searched Dr fosters I only saw the buy it by the foot area which had it backordered to august 19 both dr foster and Big als. Now I am stumped.

Never the less thank you very much sir!

Take your Eheim intake outlet to your fish store. They should be able to match it up to a hose that will fit snug tight. Make sure it fits snug tight or else it'll leak. I use metal clamps to make the fitting even tighter. It should not be more than $2.50 a foot. I had the same problem trying to figure out Eheim hose size then realize they do not use american standard size.

Thanks bro you are dead on correct. What I am doing actually is the outlet from my maxi jet 1200 is the same size as the tubing that I had left over from me eheim (Snug fit) And my other 5/8 tubing fit perfectly on the inlet. I plan to drain my tank with a python then fill a trash can near the tank with the tap water and let it dechlorinate and match the temps up just right and use the powerhead to pump the water in the tank. In doing this I hope to eliminate fish stress due to chlorine exposure.

Hey no problem man. Another good place to look is HomeDepot plumbing sections. they have reducers and hose for cheap. They're rated environmental safe so in theory it should be safe for fish.

Right on thanks everyone. Got it all figured out I have to go with a different pump lol. It was an epic fail trying to get two feet of head height with a powerhead (Maxijet1200) . Seemed like a good idea lol. I am getting a good submersible pump and going from there.

Even my pee can push more than two feet of head pressure when I am holding it on road trips. Seriously though, you must have did somthing wrong on the pump setup. My 125gph powerhead can push way more than 2 feet.
