This is a wild crenicichla that i caught it with other ones, but this one is the greatest. Here in Ecuador they call it chuwi, but i was wondering whats the latin name of it and the info.

Please tell some of shops on here where you caught Cinctas at so they may send people to get some. They all say they cant get any.

a number of pikes from the Saxatilis group look alike but the eye shot does look more towards the Alta.

good place for info... http://www.geocities.com/NapaValley/5491/specieslist.html

Your Pike could also be Cr. antharus ~ very similar to alta..... We had one for a while,
bought from Jeff Rapps. It grew into a beautiful 'show quality' male, one of the nicest Saxtillus group fish I've seen (nicer than the pacaya male we had).
