What type of africans formy 20long?

i was wondering what types i could keep other than shell dwellers and kribensis?

Fry perhaps. I have birchardi in a 20L. can be quick to out grow that size tank, (with all the babies.)

where do i buy shelldwellers? Will my LFS have them or will i have to ask them to order them? What type of habitat? Do they always stay in their shells? Are they social? Are kribs better? Obviously i have a lot of questions about them.

well sand and a lot of shells for a start... some LFS will carry a few, if they are good otherwise special order there or online, could look for local breeders on here... Shellies may not look as amazing as other africans, but they are really neat fish... I love my little guys...

I would go for either Shellys or Bricardi. I really like Bricardi and my LFS has a load in cheap. I just need to set up a tank just for them.

Search bricardi on google images or fairy cichlid. If i were you i'd chose 1 species of shelldwllers. I've got 8 Brevis in a 7.5 gal.
