I have currently rescued an arowana. When I was offered the opportunity, I quickly set up a tank and awaited for the arowana’s arrival.
During the wait, the tank welcomed 3 bala sharks, 3 african cichlids, and a common pleco who adapted nicely.
When the arowana arrived, there was already a small community of fishes to greet him.
The arowana settled in and became comfortable almost immediately. Fed him not long after and ate everything given to him.
I got him when he was six months old. That was a month ago. Caring for an arowana this past month has been delightful. Looking forward to learning more about these majestic fishes.
This is my first arowana.Well, not really, I had a small black arowana when I was in college in California but my Red Bellied Pacu ate him.
I hope this is my first successful arowana. I will be receiving the certificate of identity some time in the near future.
In the meantime, can anybody guess what kind of arowana I have?
