What type of ATF??

Hi Guys, well bought this guy yesterday and was just wondering what type of ATF you guys think it is? He's pretty skinny but has taken shrimp and tilapia right away and I'll be working on fattening up this little guy and while I'm at it I might as well post some pictures of my Goliath Tiger, thanks

well thanks guys, good to know, I bought him as a VATF saw some coloring on the upper lobe of the caudal but I guess the head shape does resemble a goliath.

Unlikely V, if its a striped variety it would be T. T has an all black adipose, V would have a black tip.

That is very possible though. We'll have to see as he fills out. These things are hard enough to ID at this size even when healthy!

OP - where did you get these fish?

Im from Wisconsin too and have only seen tigerfish available once in state.

Sounds good guys, I will repost pictures once he fills in a big and grows a bit more, he is about 3 inches so keeping my hands crossed that it is a VATF or TATF

Fleshy-I ordered it online and had the fish shipped out to me.
