I'm looking to buy a Digi Cam so I can take pitures of my fish and wonder what type you can suggest to me, also which ones not to get. I dont want to spend more than $300.

The sonys are good too, I just dont like the memory stick
They do take decent pix from my experience.
A couple of things to think about is what kind of zoom you want, and look for optical zoom. Digital will make the quality less.
If you can get one with manual shutter and apeture settings, you will have more fun and take better pix!

i have a fujipix s5200 cost about $500.00 cdn so your price would be around $300.00 i use it for throwing in the glove box for road trips when i dont feel like carring my slr equipment its taken some very good shots for me i've been surprised the nice thing its easier to load images onto the cpu then my nikon stuff
i gree with the optical zoom the fuji has 10x nice pics ralysman what setting did you use for the flash on the fish
