What type of clownfish for a 10g

Occelaris or percula.

Percula, I would say need a 15-20 gallon tank.


Take your pick between original Nemo (ocelaris), or Nemo with white stripes (snowflake)

Percs and occys get the same size roughly. There are a million morphs for occelaris. It ranges from normal to full black or white, to orange without stripes, and anything in between. My pair is a regular occelaris male and mocha occelaris female. I’ve always liked the black and white striped ones. Any two will pair and they switch genders so you don’t need to worry about trying to pair them, it just about always happens (think if convicts could switch genders).

I have a pair of Ocellaris in a 13.5, and they sit in the same 4 square inch spot for 95% of the day so idk about needing a bigger tank ? sometimes I think they’re stuck in some cosmic force
