ZZ red dragon a very nice one at that he has great potential keep him well fed and keep up with the waterchanges and you could have a very nice flowerhorn on your hands.

OOOHHHH thanks ...that was quick haha .....I've got 9 of them, all roughly the same size ...should I separate them because they don't appear to be bickering, but I don't want to think they're going to pair up and then start eating their tankmates :(

They're in my 100 gallon tank, which has plenty of rocks and hiding places for any to escape and they're nowhere near jostling for space, but ...should I try and separate them pre-murder-scene :)

To be honest bro i am surprised the haven't killed each other all ready flowerhorns need to be kept alone they are a very aggressive fish. they will kill each other.

no problem bro if you have anymore questions you can Pm me. also keep us updated on the progression of this guy.

That guy looks fine for now, But once they start showing aggression towards each other they will have to be house individually. This is inevitable and deadly and can happen in the blink of an eye, so keep an eye out.
He has an interesting looking mouth for a ZZ, or maybe its just the picture. Classic red dragons are 2 tone, half white, half red. Whether this guy will turn out like that IDK, But there is definate potential in this zhen zhou.

Actually if their the same size sometimes it may work specially if you got a bigger fish tank and if they grew up together but there will be occasional fighting here and there but if you want them to look their best they should be kept alone on their own fish tank...that's a zz anyway.
