What type of Flowerhorn is he?

I am really confused about what type of flowerhorn he is. I am new to Flowerhorns so all the help will be appreciated.

Looks like a possible f2 (second gen) kamfa/red dragon cross. It's a pretty common cross when it comes to FH's, most ppl breed these 2 FH's together to mix the pearling of the kamfa with the large kok of the red dragon. Still a nice looking FH tho, he has some nice finnage to him along with good pearling.

Definitely love the choice in substrate for him. FH's love to dig into the substrate so it's good to see that ya kept that in mind. Ya got any hides in the tank for him?

Thankyou for your reply. I tried adding a pot for him but he was constantly banging on it and biting it so I removed it.

That don't surprise me much. FH's are very distractive cichlids and if they don't like where something is placed they will try their best to move it around to where they want it to be. They will also bite at smooth surfaces in order to clean them off for breeding on, regardless if there is another fish present or not, it's just instinctual.
