what type of gar is this?

sorry for the bad pics but what type of gar is this, its got a fairly long snout and large round tail. im getting it regardless of type just wanna know what it is.

Average size for these guys in aquaria? he'll be going into a 180 with 2 spotted gars and some stingrays.

im a little unsure of their average max size in home aquaria, but i think i have heard around 24-30 inches...dont hold me to that though. most dont seem to make it to that size.
