What type of heater do I use with a pond liner?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have read too many times that they leak around the drain and some have the tank leak all on the right side(I believe) about 5 inches from the bottom(Supposedly Rubbermaid has been informed of this many times over). Since this tank is not in my house, I might not be there if it does leak. If it does leak, it will ruin someone else's items and cost too much to replace all it. Not to mention the repairs of water damage.

Not worth the risk. I don't really care for it lined, but worth it.

You can use a regular fish tank heater, but just put it in pvc pipe so it doesn't touch the liner. Never had any difficulties with it.
