What type of kelberi is this? Bahia or any other?

Nice looking fish. FWIW Kelberi have spangling on their anil fin. I’m not sure what type of fish but I don’t think that’s Kelberi.

They have spangling in their two pelvic fins too but they don't start to show until a certain age or size.That said,the tail markings suggest to me that the fish is a kel but I am not sure which species.....probably a bahia.

No its a kelberi. Because small spots in anal fin not visible to photo.

FWIW My Bahia had spangling on the pelvic and anil fin at 5”. I don’t see those markings from your picture, it could be a hybrid. Hopefully someone can chime in and help out. Great looking fish either way though.

since there’s a little blue on the fins, could be a rio tocantins kel

my Tocantins developed spots on fins at different stages too. So possible
Suppose you’ll just have to enjoy,wait and see for sure
