what type of loach

i have a loach i just bought and it have a big black line on it im goind to get an pic of it soon so can some one suggest what type it is

Pic quality isn't very clear, doesn't even look like a loach to me. Perhaps some sort of Danio?

Yeah, there's no way to make an identification without a clear pic. Those pics make it look like it's not even a loach. If you're good at it and it won't stress the fish too much, try catching it and putting it in a clear plastic bag with water and taking a close up pic.

I still don't think it's a loach. Loaches are bottom dwellers, by the looks of your pics, that fish swims in the mid to upper portion of the tank.

if its not a loach then what is it and that is my first one the other 2 are much slimmer and have some small barbs

Sure looks like Hyphessobrycon herbertaxelrodi from those crappy pictures. But there is no way to be certain without better ones.
