Hello,
I've got this Gourami, he's massive. About a foot long, Mean as hell, talked another smaller gourami into committing suicide by jumping out of the tank in the middle of the night, and doesn;t like me much. I rescued him from a LFS three weeks ago (for about 15$US) where he was in a two foot by 1.5 foot tank with two large pangassius and I've been fixing his various ailments since then. He had two angry red welts on his fins, both of which had made a hole through the fin, no skin on his dorsal fin, just spikes and sores and the same on his bottom (pectoral?) fin. He's better now but has turned into a right ba$tard. I'm waiting for the weather to get a bit warmer so I can release him into the pond outside where he can reek havoc with my crayfish and snails but I'd like to know what type of beast he (or she?) is. He/She/It's got a load of little brown teeth on the lower lip if that helps.
Thanks in advance
