I use oil base paint from homedepot. Easy to remove is the 1st concern then if u use water base paint it will fade in time as tank water will dilute the paint over time.

No i paint the outside of the tank but if you use water base paint from home depot over time water will splash down the back of tank so it won't look good anymore..
Very funny. I think all of the possible options have been proposed. Still not sure what the best or trade offs are. I have decided to use limo black window tint on the back of my 240 but I am curious about what paint to use inside the tank. I need to use egg rate to separate the monsters for the big guys initially but don't like white. What kind of paint should I use for the egg crate?
thanks
