Thats a standard Ocellaris, just a little darker from lighting or the black background. I assume you have a larger tank for him to be moved to in a couple inches?

Id say thats not an ocellaris but an mono based upon the coloration the black stripe over its head and the position of the spot on the tailfin.

Yea sometime in the future he's going to be put in a bigger tank, there's no other fish that's in this tank and he has a strong current to keep him active. I plan to get something around 200-300g for him, but he seems to be doing fine for now. Also thanks for the ID, I live in south florida where we have Ocellaris in the canals and ponds I've caught a few decent size ones but some people have caught them up to 10-12lbs.

I was thinking he was a mono when he was a baby, is it possible he could be a hybrid of the two?
If you dont know if its wc and the location where its cought its an possibility its an hybrid yes. To my eyes it looks like an mono. Based on the specs i posted in my last post.
