so thats 1 for Polypterus retropinnis and 2 for p.polli any more input , i must admit looking through the gallery i though it looked more like p.polli but hey iam new to polys ,been keeping fish though for approx 26years but this one and my delhezi are my first polypterus ,i dont know why i didnt get any sooner ,there really great

well if majority rules, then i'm clearly losing here but trust me, it's no doubt a retropinnis.

the proportion of the body (e.g. predorsal length etc.), the shape of the head, the radiating lines at the outer rim of the eyes are all retropinnis.
