what type of fresh water puffer fish can i put in my african malawi cichlid tank ?

My tank is 6Lx2.5wx3h I have a 4 foot sump with 3600 lph pump and a fluval fx 5 canester filter
I currently have
2 clown loaches
2 red empress
2venustes
2electric blues
2kadango
1 white night ( albino electric blue)
2dragon blood peacock
2berneys catfish ( smaller salmon catfish )
1 Texas cichlid
All cichlids are males

I say whatever puffer you want to eat your fish. Especially the loaches

With that type of stock doesnt really seem like any if any puffer would really work honestly...

Either your fish would eat the puffer or vice versa... The only one that i could think of that may work (but still highly unlikely) is the south american puffer...

How are you defining "community"? I'm sure there are many of us who keep/have kept puffers succesfully in mixed-species tanks.

No puffer will be a good fit in a rift lake cichlid tank. Either it will get picked on...it will pick on other fish...or both.

Just not a good mix.
