What type of shiner is this?

Anyone know? And if you do know, whats the max size im looking for this species? Ive got a group of them in a 125 with a male and female bluegill at the moment

I'm going to say Spotfin. They get about 4.5".

I would say, most likely spotfin shiner. I have a group in my tank. Divemaster is right about the max size.

Its not spotfin shiner as the shiner in question lacks of spot in the dorsal fin hence the name. Its your typical golden shiner which can gets up to 12".

I'm kinda weak on my shiner ID's, but my first impression was Golden Shiner as well.
