what type of tankmates do discus prefer?

im thinking of setting up a 56 for discus what other fish could i house with them and how many?

for a 56 you could probably house 4-6 discus comfortably, with at least once a week water changes.. of course more is better.

Cardinal Tetras, Sterbai Cories, Black Tetras.

Not sure on the amount though.. it depends on your WC schedule, is your tank planted or BB. What ever you choose make sure they are able to tolerate high water temps that suits your discus.
