What type of Texas Cichlid is this?

It's not a cyano......



He looks different, and his stomach is a bit sunk in. I would like to see more pics. could just be a normal carpintis, but he looks different than anyone I have ever seen.
 
That is a reg. Carpinte....

There are two types of Carpinte and one type reg. Texas...

1) Herichthys Cyanoguttatus (Regular Texas Cichlid)
...Small white dotes over entire body...very little blue, if any...
turns white and black when breeding....

2) Herichthys Carpinte....(Blue Texas Cichlid)
The reg. carpinte has white med. size spots over entire blue body.
The Escondido carpinte has med. white spots over blue body but
the entire facial area has sqiggly lines all over instead of spots...
In my opinion the Escondido are more intense blue.....
