My clown loaches have been totally munching up my plants - I've been told that given them lots of veggies will help this. I've given them cucumber which they love and it does help curb there plant eating - so I was wondering what other types of veggies can I give them? I also have bala sharks which loved the cucumber too.
Thanks for any other ideas!

Hi, Mine really like zucchini. Sometimes I soak it in a garlic/water mixture that they also like.

Hmm, never really heard of clown loaches going after plants. I know they are omnivorous considering mine would eat algae wafers, but my were always on the more carnivorous side, taking snails, bloodworms, blackworms, and scraps of smelt and shrimp my rays didn't eat.

Don't really know what other vegatable matter you could give them, but if you fed them some frozen bloodworms it would probably keep them off your plants.

I use Zuchinni and cucumber, they would probably like peas too. I also give them frozen spirulina.

Ever tried little chunks of banana? Mine seem to like it....!
