What type of water?

When I do a water change I use regular tap water. But I was wondering if possibly I should be using something else.
The test results for my tank water after a 40% WC are:
Nitrate:
80ppm
Nitrite:
0ppm
Hardness:
400ppm
Akalinity:
120-150ppm
pH:
6.5
Was wondering what I could do to get my nitrate and hardness down and pH up to about 7.4.
Or are these good results for a tank with datnoids, birchirs, JD's, jardini and plecos?

don't worry about the pH, they will be fine. The nitrate is easy to lower; do more water changes. Maybe 2 a week or one larger one.

Check the parameters of your tap water too

tap is about the same besides having 0ppm on nitrate and nitrite. but i thought the 40% i just did yesterday would of lowered it a lil more.
