i was at my lfs today and they had this male FH in thier, i want this fish but not sure about the price tag on um.... i no these pictures are kindaa bad quality but can somebody tell me what this is? or whats in it.... these pics. have NO flash and the tank this fh is in has NO lights so pics very dark......and if you can throw a price range of what you think its worth......fish is about 7 to 8 inch's...

What are they asking? Try talking them down since you want it. It shouldn't be too hard since its not a real good quality one(at least from the pics)

If it has that small of a head at 7 or 8 inches I wouldnt pay more than 40 bucks for it. Its just a run of the mill ZZ

If it's a price you can live with and you like it then go for it. I'm sure we have all paid more than we wanted for a fish than it was worth because we wanted it a time or 2. Hell I've even bought deformed or sick fish because I felt sorry for them and wanted to give them a better home.

I see this fish in the $20-$40 range but since it's labeled as a flowerhorn I'm sure they are asking more like $60-$80. I'd ask them to lower the price... Especially if they know you or you are buying more than one fish or if the fish has been there a long time. It never hurts to ask.
