I want to try other foods for them. They love to eat. I know they are mainly veggie eaters. But Im not sure if there is anything toxic or not healthy for them. So far Ive fed Peas (1-2x a week) romaine lettuce every other day, spinich if I dont have romaine lettuce (they dont seem to keen on the spinich), and cucumber.
Ive thought about dropping some steamed carrots but I wasnt sure if that's ok for them. I thought about kale, squash, zuccinni, greenbeans, sweet potatos, regular potatos, apples, bananas, strawberries..but Im not if those are safe to give them. If anyone can enlighten me what and how often or how little I would greatly appreciate it!
Also any DYI ideas to anchor/weigh veggies down?
